Reduce herbicide application rates up to 50 percent.

The long term disbenefits associated with herbicide use, e.g. soil depletion, environmental damage and health consequences are such that, it is in everyone's best interest to implement sustainable AG and lawn care programs that minimize or eliminate herbicide use.

When a systemic herbicide is applied to a weed, it must penetrate the leaf surface and move through the plants vascular system to the site of action within the plant. Several barriers exist within plants that hinder absorption, including the cuticle, cell wall and cellular membrane. When used as directed, herbicide additives can accelerate the rate at which the herbicide moves through these barriers. Herbicide additives can (1) reduce the surface tension of the carrier solution (2) improve retention and coverage of spray droplets on the leaf surface (3) increase herbicide absorbed rate (4) reduce the potential for herbicide induced plant stress and (5) reduce the need for over application of herbicides.

It is seldom necessary to thoroughly drench an area with herbicide to achieve satisfactory weed control. Applying just enough herbicide to wet the foliage, without causing runoff, will provide effective weed control. Effective weed control involves the application of herbicides when weeds are visible and actively growing. Heavily weeded lawns may require repeated herbicide applications in the first year, but, once control is achieved, application can be reduced to one annual spot treatment. A spot treatment involves applying herbicide to the weeds, instead of the entire lawn.

FACTS
Overuse of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides destroys soil biomass and depletes the soil.
To restore soil to optimum health it is necessary to implement a sustainable AG program designed to detoxify the soil and restore soil biomass.

WHAT IS CB-707?
CB-707 is an organic, multi-purpose adjuvant and compatibility agent formulated to augment the efficiency of synthetic herbicides and reduce plant stress resulting from herbicide use. CB-707 can improve the performance of foliar applied herbicides under a variety of growing conditions. When CB-707 is tank mixed with most herbicide solutions the effectiveness of the herbicide solution is significantly increased and plant stress is significantly reduced. CB-707 is formulated with a complex blend of wetting agents, macro and micro nutrients, and proprietary constituents that…
• Reduce the surface tension of the spray solution.
• Increase spray solution coverage.
• Increase spray retention.
• Increase herbicide absorption rate.
• Reduce plant stress.
• Enable applicators to reduce herbicide application rates up to 50 percent.

APPLICATION RATE
1. Tank mix the herbicide at the desired reduced rate.
2. Add CB-707 at 0.2 to 0.5% of the carrier volume.

Table 1.
CB-707 Rates / Spray Tank Water Volume in Litres
0.2% v/v 0.25% v/v 0.5% v/v
2 L/1000 L 2.5 L/1000 L 5 L/1000 L

Table 2.

NOTE
Certain herbicide manufacturer's recommend the use of a pH reducing acidulate. When a pH reducing acidulate is required add it prior adding CB-707.

SAFETY
CB-707 is produced in accordance with NOSB (National Organic Standards Board) guidelines. The materials used in the production process are derived from naturally occurring and sustainable sources and are consistent with organic principals and the National List of Allowed Substances. CB-707 does NOT contain synthetic chemicals, animal components, animal byproducts, manure or manure byproducts. CB-707 is environmentally safe, and is not harmful to animals, plants and humans.
