What form of fertilizer is
best?
Fertilizers are manufactured in four basic forms granular, pellets, powder and liquid.
All have advantages and disadvantages. Manure treated
with CBPA
is an excellent source of nutrients. For example, the
nitrogen (N), phosphate (P2O5) and potassium (K 2O)
content of feedlot manure, with bedding, is about 22, 18
and 25 lb/ac per ton respectively at a moisture content
of around 50%. In addition, manure contains copper, iron,
zinc, calcium, magnesium, manganese and other nutrients
which are essential to plant growth.
