MANURE ODOR CONTROL

Regulations pertaining to waste management require all wastes, including liquid manure runoff, to be contained. EcoChem waste management products can allow MSW operators, feed lots, factory farms and close confinement animal facilities to address environmental issues associated with manure management and operate odor free, without soil or water pollution.

CBPA is highly efficient, has no adverse affect on the environment and is not harmful to animals, plants and humans.

WHAT IS CBPA?
CBPA is an organic proprietary blend of  essential nutrients and synergists formulated
to stimulate the aerobic biomass present in organic waste.  The components in CBPA are selected both for their effectiveness in organic waste treatment and for their ability to accelerate the natural degradation process. The degradation process is regulated by temperature, moisture, material disturbance, organic matter and the size and activity of microbial populations. Accordingly, the effectiveness of CBPA is dependent upon conditions within the treatment environment. CBPA is effective in aqueous and non-aqueous facultative environments.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
CBPA can be used safely in the following applications:
Close confinement Animal Operations
Poultry operations
Dog kennels
Horse Barns
Vet clinics
Livestock facilities
Livestock transportation vehicles
Sewage treatment facilities
Sanitary landfills
Meat processing plants
Food processing facilities
Garbage dumpsters & garbage chutes
Composting facilities

BENEFITS
Can be incorporated into most waste management systems with minimum additional capital expenditures.
Abruptly eliminates odor.
Lowers BOD.
Reduces ammonia levels.
Reduces volume up to 40% in solid waste applications.
Creates a healthy, low stress environment resulting in enhanced growth and reduced animal mortality.
Creates a poor breeding substrate for of water-breeding insects, flies, mosquitoes, etc. by decomposing the larvae.
Is cost effective.

USAGE:
CBPA is highly concentrated and must be diluted in water.

Dilution Rate:
To prepare a RTU Solution, dilute CBPA concentrate in water at a rate of 1:200. In extreme odor conditions a mixture of 1:100 may be required for initial applications.

1 quart of CBPA concentrate yields 200 quarts of RTU Solution.
1 quart of Stock Solution will effectively treat 1 cubic yard of waste.

The following examples are intended to show the cost effectiveness of CBPA for odor control and manure management in hog and cattle operations. These numbers may vary depending upon type of ration, environmental conditions, management process, genetics etc.

Animal Type Animal weight Annual Manure production Annual CBPA cost
  (lbs.) (cubic meters)
Gestating Sow 275 1.53 $0.56
Growers 65 0.70 $0.26
Dairy Cow 1000 13.43 $5.03
Beef 1000 9.76 $3.61
