Humic Acid -
Soluble Humic Substances
Agro Hume is a
humic acid complex formulated with humic acid, fulvic acid,
macro micro nutrients and proprietary constituents essential
for
plant
growth. Agro Hume
can be foliar applied with the aid of a conventional sprayer
and soil applied with the aid a liquid kit, irrigation or
fertigation apparatus.
Agro Hume
contains humic substances that posses both
aromatic and
aliphatic characteristics. The dominant
functional groups, which contribute to
surface charge and reactivity of humic
substances, are phenolic and carboxylic
groups. Humic substances can
chelate multivalent
cations such as
Mg2+,
Ca2+, and
Fe2+. By chelating the ions,
they increase the availability of these
cations to
plants and other organisms.
The principal active
components of humic substances are two
groups of complex carbon based organic
acids, Humic acid and Fulvic acid. These are
natural organic carbon compounds that have
extremely high ion exchange capacity and
possess the ability to chelate inorganic
trace elements and enhance nitrogen
absorption.
When applied together with
fertilizers, humic substances can increase
the efficacy of the companion materials.
As a result, conventional fertilizer inputs
i.e. nitrogen and phosphorous can be
significantly reduced.
Typically,
nitrogen and phosphate can be reduced up to
50 percent in the first year of the Agro
Hume humic substances program.
In high pH
soils, where phosphate availability is
a problem, Agro Hume greatly increase
the availability of phosphorous, iron, zinc
and manganese and, the humc substances
content of Agro Hume, complex nitrogen as
ammonium and retain it in the root zone
preventing nitification and leaching out of
the root zone.
FOLIAR
APPLICATIONS:
To increase yield and to improve the plants
ability to deal with stress, apply Agro Hume
at the beginning of the season when the
plant canopy is sufficient to absorb the
foliar nutriemts. A second application is
recommended about 14 days later. The first
application is intended to stimulate root
formation. The second application is
intended take advantage of the increased
root system and increase top growth. Both
applications should be at least 1 litre /
acre. For hay and pasture, apply one
application at the beginning of the season.
Repeat after each cutting or
grazing or as required.

SOIL
APPLICATIONS:
1.5 Litres / Acre
Dilution Rate: 1.5 Litre / 40 Litres water.
Apply directly to the soil in the seed bed or band or
side dress.
FOLIAR
APPLICATIONS: 1 Litre / Acre
Dilution Rate: 1 Litre / 20 to 40 Litres
water.
Apply in a fine mist with the aid of a conventional ground
sprayer or back pack sprayer.
TO ACCELERATE MATURITY:
Diluton Rate: 1 Litre / 40 Litres water.
Apply
in a fine mist when a plant that is approaching a stressed
condition or the maturity stage.
FERTIGATION
– DRIP IRRIGATION:
Dilution Rate: 1 ml. (1 oz.) /
Litre water.
NOTE: Agro Hume will
not burn or damage seeds or plants. Over application can be
a benefit.
Application
rates may vary depending on soil type, pant type,
environmental conditions and results required.

is produced in accordance with NOSB (National Organic
Standards Board) guidelines. The materials used in the
production process are derived from naturally occurring and
sustainable sources and are consistent with organic
principals and the National List of Allowed Substances. Agro
Hume does NOT contain synthetic chemicals, animal
components, animal byproducts, manure or manure byproducts.
Agro Hume is environmentally safe and is not harmful to
animals, plants and humans.

Agro Hume fully complies with EPA Toxic
Substance Control Act (TSCA) and the rules, orders and regulations promulgated
there under including:
a) Sections 4, 5, 6 & 7; Title 40 Chapter 1, 707.20 thru
707.75;
b) 40 CFR Sections 704.3. 710.2(e) and 720.3(c); and
c) Sections 5 and 13, reference 42FR64583
d) Does not contain marine
pollutants as defined in 49 CFR 171.8.
e) Does not contain animal manure, animal by-products or
synthetic chemicals
